Circular Dialogue Benches Support Respectful Co-Creational Learning
Apr 11In a collaboration between Arts Alive SDSU and the Office for Restorative Practices, School of Art and Design MFA student Kristi Williams has installed her thesis project, Circular Dialogue Benches, outside the Chinese Cultural Center in the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts.
Wearable Technology to Aid in Post-Covid Loss of Smell
Apr 11San Diego State University Art and Design Professor Yin Yu, in collaboration with Dr. Surabhi Bhutani, is designing wearable technology for olfactory, smell training to combat loss of smell after a COVID-19 infection. In a crossover between art and science, the wearable tech will help individuals suffering from loss of smell through olfactory training.

2023 Tour of Joseph Alter’s “Skin Hunger” includes two performances at SDSU
Mar 20“Skin Hunger”, choreographed by Music and Dance Professor Joseph Alter, comes to San Diego State University. The dance performance will visit San Diego as part of the 2023 tour, including Poland, New York and Tijuana.
