SDSU Presidential Navy Preparatory Program
What is the Navy Preparatory Program?
The NROTC Preparatory Program (NPP) scholarship is a one-year scholarship designed to prepare highly motivated and exceptional students to be successful in the following four-year Navy ROTC scholarship.
Selected students are provided a one-year full scholarship to San Diego State, including tuition, fees, and housing. The scholarship is provided by the President’s Office of SDSU.
Eligible students must be committed to the S.T.E.M. fields of study, which means they enroll and complete one of the Navy’s Tier 1 or Tier 2 majors.
Upon successful completion of the one-year program, students are automatically granted the 4-year Navy ROTC scholarship.
