Students may work in the PARC in a variety of positions. Read our position descriptions for more information:

• Classic Tutor
• Embedded Tutor
• Peer Learning Coach

We do our best to offer equitable wages for our student workers based on labor market research. In Fall 2024, we will be proud to offer the following rates:

• Welcome Desk Staff - $20.50/hour
• Welcome Desk Staff Team Captains - $21/hour
• New Tutors - $21/hour
• CRLA Level 1 Certified Tutors - $21.50/hour

Spring Semester

March - Applications open for the following academic year
April - Candidates interview
May - Hiring decisions are sent out & HR paperwork processed

Please note that tutor and learning coach positions require a two-semester commitment (Fall and Spring).

We also have a virtual learning center on Discord that SDSU community members are welcome to join! On our Discord, students can hangout, get help making tutoring or coaching appointments from our welcome desk staff, and to ask quick questions of our tutors and learning coaches.
