The College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts (PSFA) welcomes our new transfer class of 2028 and our first-year class of 2030!
This page contains orientation presentations, advising resources, checklists, and handouts designed to support new PSFA students as they transition to San Diego State University for the 2026-27 academic year.
PSFA offers 43 undergraduate and graduate degree programs and three ROTC minors across our schools and departments. During New Student Orientation, you'll have the opportunity to connect with the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, meet with your major advisor, and learn about the academic resources and support services available throughout your SDSU journey.

New Student Orientation helps students:

- Build a strong foundation for academic success and engagement at SDSU
