PSFA Cares
Shared Services Team
Welcome to the PSFA CARES (Centralized Administrative Resources & Executive Support) hub. Our team is dedicated to providing efficient, responsive, and customer-focused administrative support to the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts.
Our Mission
Consistent with San Diego State University’s Shared Services mission, the PSFA CARES team aims to optimize time and align expertise to pursue sustainable organizational excellence. We centralize administrative functions—including financial transactions and procurement—to allow departments to focus more fully on their core academic, creative, and student-centered missions.
Our primary goals are to:
- Align Expertise: Match administrative tasks with staff subject matter expertise for higher efficiency.
- Enhance Consistency: Improve the timeliness and effectiveness of administrative services across the college.
- Support Well-being: Create a sustainable staffing model that balances workloads and supports staff work-life balance.
- Empower Departments: Free up unit staff to dedicate more time to teaching, research, and student success.
