Outstanding Graduate: Danielle Joy Lutero Aquino from the School of Art and Design
May 11A proud, first-generation, Filipino-American, Lutero Aquino hopes that her graduating class finds the same kind of joy, passion, and pride that she has found while at SDSU. And for incoming students, Lutero Aquino wants them to know that “everything is going to be okay.”
Outstanding Graduate: Julz Fernandez from the School of Dance
May 11Fernandez shares her advice for incoming students, “what you get out of your education is what you put in. Apply yourself to your fields of study, and take care of your body while doing so. We are all humans, our body is an entire system, shares Fernandez.
Outstanding Graduate: Johnathan Hallmark from Army ROTC
May 11Johnathan Hallmark, a finance major, has been named outstanding graduate by SDSU’s Army ROTC Military Science Program. In addition to his involvement in the Army ROTC, Hallmark was involved in campus intramural sports and the SDSU Ski Club/Snow Team.
Outstanding Graduate: Brenden Harold Lopez from Air Force ROTC
May 11“To the class of 2022, my hope is that we embrace our roles as leaders of the next generation. I hope that we may use all the education and lessons learned through our time at SDSU not to just perform a job or task, but to serve and uplift others so that they too can achieve the goals and aspirations that they have,” shares Lopez.
Outstanding Graduate: Hannah Park from Navy ROTC
May 11As a proud student mentor, Park shares her advice for incoming freshmen. “Take advantage of all the resources on campus. Whether that’s being close to your friends, the events, all of the resource centers, etc. It’s amazing that students have all of that at their fingertips.”
