School of Public Affairs at SDSU Homecoming 2025
Alumni and faculty from SDSU’s School of Public Affairs gathered at the Homecoming Game to celebrate community, strengthen connections, and grow the Alumni Network.

On November 8, 2025, the San Diego State University Aztec Football Team (6–1) hosted their exciting Homecoming Game, and the newly established School of Public Affairs joined the celebration to spread the word about our growing Alumni Network!
It was a fantastic afternoon of Aztec spirit, connection, and community which was complete with great food, cold drinks, and plenty of laughter as alumni reconnected and new graduates joined the network. The event offered a perfect opportunity to celebrate our School’s legacy while building bridges for the future.
Representing the School were Pascual Benitez, Chief Investigator at the County of San Diego Office of the Alternate Public Defender; David Arguelles, Internship and Student Experience Coordinator; Dr. Stuart Henry, Director of the School of Public Affairs; Dr. Nancy Colvin; Dr. Darrell Pugh, Emeritus Faculty; and proud SDSU alum Debra Greenfield — all featured in the photo.
Go Aztecs!
