Our Practitioner-in-Residence program brings prominent practitioners from government and non-governmental organizations to the School of Public Affairs for one semester to share practical insight and expertise with students and faculty.

We are delighted to host our second Practitioner-in-Residence, David Estrella, for the 22-23 academic year. David joined the County of San Diego in 2002, and is currently the Director of Housing and Community Development Services (HCDS) in the Health and Human Services Agency.
