Navy Reserve Officer’s Training Corps (NROTC) Announces Outstanding Student: Madison Fennell
Madison Fennell: Outstanding Undergraduate Student
Madison Fennell has been named the Navy Reserve Officer’s Training Corps Outstanding Student for the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts.
At SDSU, Fennell says she matured and became a stronger student. She hopes to serve as an officer in the Marine Corps before pursuing a career as an FBI Special Agent—ambitious goals she believes are within reach because of the lessons she’s learned at SDSU.
“The discipline to work at overcoming an obstacle is the greatest and most rewarding learning experience,” Fennell said.
Fennell also played for SDSU Women’s Rugby for four years and served as Vice President of the University’s club sports program this year.
Criminal Justice major Fennell credits Dr. Tereza Trejbalova as the faculty member who had the greatest impact on her, teaching a course that humanized and accurately portrayed incarcerated individuals in the United States.
Congratulations Madison!
