Take a Seat Campaign
RESERVE YOUR SEAT TODAY
The New SDSU Performing Arts District
SDSU performing arts invites you to take part in an exciting opportunity to support its new Performing Arts District in a meaningful way by participating in the Take A Seat campaign. Your sponsorship will support performances, students, faculty, and the greatest needs of the SDSU performing arts program.
Celebrate a loved one, honor an arts lover, or give a gift to the person who has everything with a seat donation that leaves a legacy. These seats have never been available for naming, so now is your chance! With only 450 seats available, move quickly to guarantee you can pick your favorite seat! The first 300 will be permanent seating in the Main Stage Theatre and 150 will be ‘moveable’ seats in the Second Stage. All seats will have only one donor’s personalized recognition plaque.
You have the opportunity to Take A Seat in the spotlight and enjoy having your name, a sentiment, anniversary date, or the name of another person you wish to honor laserengraved on an elegant nameplate placed on one of the theater seats. The engraving you select promises that you or your loved one will be a visible part of this dynamic Performing Arts District for years to come. This lasting tribute will support the SDSU performing arts community.
Be serious or poetic, sentimental or clever! You can choose to dedicate a seat:
- As an individual, couple, or family
- In honor of your children, grandchildren, parents, friend, or coworker
- In memory of a loved one
- With the name of your business or organization
- Marking a birthday, anniversary, or another special occasion
- Honoring a retiring employee with your favorite quotation
