Greetings from PSFA
Earlier this month Americans for the Arts released the Arts & Economic Prosperity Report for San Diego. Nonprofit arts and culture organizations and their audiences spent $1.1 billion in San Diego in fiscal year 2015. Further, the sector supported 35,914 full-time equivalent jobs, and generated $116 million in local and state government revenue.
Here on campus, we engage students of all majors in the arts. From integrating arts education into non-arts curriculum, to providing students access to industry /entrepreneurial experts, to equipping students with professional experience with arts organizations, SDSU is preparing a creative workforce of the future.
