Michael Rapp
Lecturer
Nominated by Aletia PrevoCOMM-103 Basic Course Director, Michael Rapp, and the 32 fearless COMM Graduate Teaching Associates who courageously taught almost 2,000 freshmen, in 98 sections of Comm-103, this spring semester. When they realized they’d be teaching on virtual platforms, Michael communicated a well-thought plan to his team, and together the TA’s began a shared drive where ideas and tips were exchanged, all while learning Zoom, attending their own rigorous seminar courses, and some were preparing for thesis defenses. Aletia admires and appreciates all of the 2020 COMM Teaching Associates for their extra effort and positive attitude, and particularly, Michael for his leadership.
