Overview

Uncontrolled and unplanned exploitation of the resources threatens to permanently degrade the ambiance of Loreto, Mexico, and Marine Protected Areas of the region through haphazard urbanization. Students in this program will have an opportunity to directly examine ecological, social, and economic sustainability issues facing various Mexican cities and develop solutions while working on a regional environmental sustainability assessment project.
