This program provides an interdisciplinary overview of UK and US intelligence and security from the era of Queen Elizabeth I to the modern day. The program offers an exciting opportunity to study in England and will be of interest to students of history, politics and international relations. The course also delves into the science and technology of intelligence and security, as well as the study of propaganda and information operations. The program is co-taught at Corpus Christi College by Dr. Jeffrey McIllwain of SDSU and Dr. David Burke of the University of Cambridge and the University of Otago (New Zealand).

Host Information

St. Catharine's College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. The college was founded in 1473 by Robert Woodlark and is located in the historic city-centre of Cambridge, just south of King's College and across the street from Corpus Christi College. The University of Cambridge is located in the city of Cambridge, in the county town of Cambridgeshire, England, on the River Cam about 50 miles north of London.
