The Student Research Symposium is a two-day event recognizing the outstanding scholarly accomplishments of SDSU students.
SDSU’s 11th annual Student Research Symposium (SRS) will be held on Friday, March 2 and Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Aztec Student Union.
The SRS provides a public forum where SDSU students present their research, scholarship or creative activities. All SDSU students are encouraged to submit an application to present either preliminary or completed results from their original research or creative activity. Presentations, whether oral, poster, exhibit or performance, are organized by academic disciplines with divisions for undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students.
Presidential Awards ($500) will be made to recognize outstanding achievement in original scholarship. These graduate and undergraduate students will go on to represent SDSU at the CSU Student Research Competition in May 2018. In total over 50 cash awards will be given in recognition of outstanding presentations or performance during SRS 2018.
