The SDSU School of Music and Dance unveiled a new music recording studio this school year with updated technology, and equipment designed to allow students to easily record their own compositions, prepare for auditions, and create professional recordings.
“A new recording studio means new and more realistic opportunities for those in the recording major,” says music student, Lindsay Ross. “Having professional level audio recordings will be very helpful when it comes to professional level auditions.”
The new recording studio is open to all music students, and is being well used. In just the first two weeks of opening, over 40 students utilized the new facility.
