Did you know that San Diego State University has a thriving arts community?  Theatre, Dance, Music and Fine Arts abound at SDSU.  During SDSU Month, March 2007 you can experience this culinary feast of the arts.  Come to A Taste of the Arts at SDSU via trolley and get $5 off a "Trolley Pass" ticket that allows you four entrances to any Theatre, Dance, Music or Art event.  Mix or Match your four entrances any way you want.  Bring three friends and see a play or visit each area individually for yourself, or have a friend purchase a pass too!  It's a chance to see live theatre, enjoy a musical event or view an art gallery presentation with both professionals, as well as watching the stars of tomorrow right here in your own backyard today.  Many opportunities await you just a trolley ride away.  Here's a sampling of the treats that await you:

The Mask in the Mirror" a Chamber Opera written by music professor Richard Thompson performed in conjunction with the National Black Studies Conference.

A musical interpretation of the courtship and failed marriage between the famed African American poet, Paul Laurence Dunbar and novelist Alice Ruth Moore

Leslie Seiters Little Known Dance Company

"Electricidad" Set in the LA barrios, Luis Alfaro's crackling and high-tension adaptation of Sophocles' classic Electra that takes a contemporary look at power and revenge.
