The School of Music and Dance offers several professional undergraduate and graduate degrees. Students receive free private lessons and perform in several of the many bands, orchestras, choirs, operas, world music, new music, piano, percussion and guitar ensembles. More than $50,000 in music scholarships is available for incoming music majors through audition. Music and Dance degrees offered:

  • Bachelor of Music in performance, jazz and composition
  • Bachelor of Arts in Music in general music and with the California single-subject teaching credential
  • Master of Music in performance, jazz, conducting and composition of Arts in Music in vocal and piano pedagogy, ethnomusicology, theory, history and literature, and musicology
  • Bachelor of Arts in Dance
