The Hospitality and Tourism Management Program draws from
SDSU’s nationally recognized College of Business Administration
and College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts. It’s
an education program tailored to meet industry needs and student
expectations.
- The program requires that students complete a foundation of classes in Business. Once students enter the upper division program they study the major's core requirements, which include classes in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Business, Communications and Recreation
- Students will also complete a 300-hour internship
- Students then select a concentration, which they will master in a series of classes and a second 300-hour internship in their concentration area
- Options include: Hotel Operations & Management, Restaurant Operations & Management, Attractions, Events and Conventions Management, and Global Tourism
