It's Grease meets Little Shop of Horrors in this rockin' sci-fi send-up of teenage monster movies. Set in the nuclear 1950s at Enrico Fermi High, girl meets boy, girl loses boy, girl gets zombie in this rock 'n' roll blast to the past. Zombie Prom is giddy, ghoulish, high-energy fun for the whole nuclear family.

NWEAMO International Festival of Electro-Acoustic Music

The New West Electro-Acoustic Music Organization presents the 9th annual festival in San Diego with the theme of "Synesthesia: the Mixing of Senses." Artists from around the globe will perform works from all genres and ideas in the world of electro-acoustic music.

The Graphic Imperative: International Posters for Peace, Social Justice & the Environment 1965 to 2005

September 10 through October 10, 2007

 

The Graphic Imperative is a select retrospective of forty years of international sociopolitical posters. Themes include dissent, liberation, racism, sexism, human rights, civil rights, environmental and health concerns, AIDS, war, literacy and tolerance, collectively providing a window to an age of great change.

 

 

STAFF AWARDS

 

The Annual Staff Awards Day event honors staff that have served 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years at San Diego State University. This year's Staff Awards Day, honoring "Rays of Sunshine," focus on two members of the PSFA family.

From the Fall of 1965 to the Spring of 1967 Rick worked as a student assistant in the Drama Department. Then, on September 14, 1967 he was hired as a Technical Assistant. His supervisor was Don W. Powell. Rick will be retiring at the end of October as the Scene Shop Foreman in School of Theatre Television and Film after 40 years of dedicated service to SDSU since.

Lynn began working as a student assistant in the Music Department in December 1968 until 1972, when she was hired as a Technical Assistant in the Music Department Listening Library. Lynn is now supervisor and coordinator of the Audio/Visual Library and Multimedia Lab in the School of Music and Dance.
