Greetings from PSFA
Last summer I was able to travel with a group of art students to France. I saw first hand the impact of an international experience on those students. Many had never left the country before, experienced a culture other than ours, eaten international cuisine, etc., and while nervous, anxious, and even scared, they took a leap of faith.
Studying abroad was not an option for me when I was a college student. But I want to make sure every student that is interested, has the option. In fall, I created an endowment that provides funding for students to study abroad. Creating global citizens is important and in this issue you will read about innovative curriculum and experiences we are creating at SDSU. While this issue does feature an article about my gift, I share the article to encourage you to consider the same.
